What Soundhype does

Soundhype lets labels and artists publish song and playlist pages, generate videos, run advertising campaigns on connected platforms, and measure the results. Some features depend on accounts you connect yourself, such as Spotify, Meta or TikTok. We may change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice before removing something you depend on.

Accounts

Accounts are invite-only. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Organisation owners and admins control who else has access and what they may do.

Your content

Music, artwork, video, copy and everything else you upload stays yours. You grant us only the licence we need to host it, process it, render it into videos, and deliver it to the platforms you have connected, for as long as you use the service.

You confirm you hold the rights to what you upload and to the recordings you promote, including any rights needed for advertising use. Do not upload anything unlawful, infringing, or that you were not given permission to use. We can remove material we reasonably believe breaches this, and will tell you when we do.

Connected platforms and advertising spend

When you connect Meta, TikTok, Spotify or a similar service, that platform's own terms continue to apply and you remain responsible for following them, including their advertising policies. Advertising budgets are set by you and charged to you by the platform, not by us. We are not responsible for a platform rejecting an ad, suspending an account, or changing its API or policies.

Campaign results depend on factors outside our control. Nothing in the service is a promise of streams, followers, reach or revenue.

Automatic Instagram messages

If you switch on Auto DMs for an Instagram account, you are responsible for that account, for the messages and replies you set up, and for following Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram's Community Guidelines. Messages may only answer people who commented on or messaged the account, inside the limits Instagram sets — no spam, no misleading giveaways, and nothing a person did not ask for. We may pause an automation that breaks these rules or that Meta asks us to stop.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or to other customers' data; do not probe or test its security without our written permission; do not scrape it or resell access; and do not use it to send unsolicited messages or to inflate metrics artificially. If you find a security problem, tell us at privacy@soundhype.com rather than exploiting it, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it.

Listeners and submission links

Listen links and submission links can be used without an account. If you connect a streaming account through one, you are authorising the specific actions described on that page, and you can withdraw that access at any time through the streaming service. How we handle data from these pages is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

We work to keep Soundhype available and backed up, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance. The service is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period.

Ending it

You can stop using Soundhype and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so. On closure we delete or return your content in line with the Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we will update the date above and notify account holders where the change is significant; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and the courts of the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory protections available to you as a consumer where you live.
